A Career in Aviation Leadership

Doug is a commercial, multi-engine pilot and certificated flight instructor. His aviation career began in Washington with the National Air Transportation Association and expanded during 28 years at the National Business Aviation Association. Rising to Senior Vice President, he oversaw safety, security, sustainability, international affairs, operations and aviation policy. His responsibilities included rulemaking strategy, congressional engagement, industry coalitions and representation before Congress, FAA, TSA, CBP and ICAO in addition to aviation safety organizations around the globe. That first-hand experience with domestic and international regulators and operators alike shapes the balanced, practical guidance Carr Aviation Solutions now provides to executive teams worldwide.
